Lets see Tuesday half of our scheduled appointments fell through but we did get to see Eloise and Jeff. We were able to get a large print BOM to Eloise so she will be able to read it:) Keep her in your prayers she is having surgery today.
Wednesday after DDM we found a little birdie lying on the ground. My guess is it flew into the window. we found a box and put it in then called a member who came to pick it up. he took it back to campus and his biology teacher said it got a concussion but that it would be ok. And it was a little while later they took the bird out and it flew away:) yay! We had dinner with the Stallings. they have two sons who are so excited to have the missionaries over. they met us at the car door. when we walked in there were two chairs by the window. sister stallings said they had been sitting there watching for us to come. hey mom do you remember any kids who would do that lol:)
Thursday Sister Tisdale went with us to visit Nancy. She helped Nancy start her family History so she could prepare names for the temple! She is doing great. Sister tisdale showed us the site where members can get free access to ancestory.com and later that day we decided to go to the library and look at our family search pages. Well I sure found a treasure. When I clicked on great grandma Peterson I found her life story! so neat! She spoke of how much the church meant to her when she was a girl!
Friday while tracting we had an interesting experience. We knocked on doors for 2 hours and no one was interested but one man did come out and started bashing us. we told him we weren't there to argue and tried to leave but he kept on finally we just turned and walked away as he continued saying rude things to us. that was a little aggravating but we went to sister Grealish for dinner and she always brightens our mood:)
Saturday we went to help jodi pack. She moved to Utah yesterday! She has been so kind to us. I hope she is surrounded by kind members who will help her have the desire to continue learning about this gospel with her family!
We went with Nancy and Sister Huckaby to the womens broadcast. It was fantastic of course! we went home with sister Kennedy and nancy. Sister kennedy is from England and she is soooo funny! We love her.
Sunday we arrived at church and were blessed to see many less actives who we invited to watch the primary program. Daniel Brady and His younger brother Sam (or paw, the ishees grandpa) were there to watch sissy sing! She had no idea they were coming and was so excited to see them there. The primary Program was wonderful. Unfortunately Sister Boehula was very sick yesterday and we had to leave church early so she could go lay down. she is feeling better today:)
I love y'all! Enjoy conference! Invite your friends over to watch! have a wonderful week!
