Hello everyone!
I don't have much time and pardon all my horrible typos! Mom, Al and Grandma took me to the MTC. Of course I was crying but just as mom said once they were gone I would be fine. And I was. My host was so sweet. She left for Russia on Monday!
My district is a district of all girls which I guess is a new thing because all the teachers popped their head in and said how cool it was! I love my district they are all so sweet! Right away we got to work! We learned about teaching and how to really listen to the investigators! I cant believe how much we have learned since that time! The first few days seemed like the went on forever but since Sunday the days have seemed to speed by! We have these really great "investigators" that we are able to teach which is really neat! We are just learning so much from all of them and how to listen to the spirit and let the spirit guide our lessons!
My companion is sweet and we've had our differences but we are really quite good at talking them out:)
On Monday it was my birthday! and it was so wonderful! I didn't think much of it during the day because I was so busy but during the breaks, everyone told me happy birthday! During lunch the whole zone sang happy birthday to me in the dining hall! it was so sweet! but the real treat came at the end of the day when the sisters starting acting funny in the residence hall! We suddenly sister king came out with a box of homemade cupcakes and all the sisters in the zone sang again. Sister King is from here and her brother in law works here so she asked her brother in law to bring a treat for all of us. He let sister kings youngest sister know and she made us all cup cakes! It was the sweetest then all the sisters said something they loved about me!
I really love our zone but we will be going to different missions! All the other sisters are going to Wisconsin! I'm going to miss them!
Well my birthday was on a holiday so no mail that day but Kris Piggot sent me a birthday package and I got that on Tuesday it was so fun!
Oh on Sunday we had the Primary General President come in to Relief Society and speak! She was amazing! and then the evening devo was Sheri Dew! The spirit is always strong here but they were just so filled with love and the spirit it was amazing! On Tuesday, Gerald Causse and his wife spoke! Again, it was amazing!
I love it here and I love my teachers but I can't wait to get to Mississippi! Monday will be here soon!!
Well I love you all and I'm so happy to be serving the Lord! Thanks everyone for the birthday letters and other letters they are so fun!
Well my time is running low and I need to finish my laundry!
I'm so grateful for our savior and for this gospel! it truly brings me joy.
