Hi Y'all!
Hope this week was wonderful for everyone! Next week we don't have a preparation day so don't expect an email from me but to my family I'll be seeing you through the computer on Christmas day!
Since I last talked to you some exciting things have happened! On Wednesday we decided to go check on a family. The mom is a member but not active. her to children are not members. Kimberly just turned 16. Her mom wasn't home but we asked if we could talk with her for a little while. She agreed and we asked if we could teach her. She had so many great questions and her brother did too! we went back the next day and taught her more then set her with a baptismal date. she was a little stand offish at first but then said she knew it was what she needed to do.
On Wednesday we also met Wanda! she has been through a lot and loved the message of hope we shared with her. we will be going back to see her this week:)
On Friday we had apartment inspections and got a clean apartment award again. yes mom for 8 transfers I have been able to receive the award... I do know how to clean!! Friday night we helped set up for the most wonderful Christmas Party, A Night in Bethlehem.
Saturday was the Party and it was amazing. The market place was filled with yummy food, a well to get our water, and the textiles shop where I worked helping people get Bethlehem clothing:) blankets were spread on the ground for places to eat. But in our Bethlehem the tax collector didn't take our money he gave us money so we could purchase whatever we wanted to in the market place. On the stage was a live nativity. Of course there was lots of singing all night and we watched Reflections of Christ. at the end Santa came in and kneeled by baby Jesus and said he wished he could have been there those many years ago when the first gift of Christmas was given. It was a wonderful night:) Kimberly's family was all there.
Its been a great week. This week will be great too! Have a merry Christmas! Love yall!
