This week has had its ups and downs but for the most part It's been good!
Tuesday was our pday and we went to Tpoint so we could say bye to our friends! It was fun because Sister schulthies got transferred again so I got to see her for just a minute! Tuesday evening the Alhaltehs had us over to teach Joel! It was wonderful! Joel has been to Jordan before which is where they are from so they wanted to make him his favorite dish from there. IT WAS SO DELICIOUS! I don't know how to spell it but it was some kind of lamb dish over rice. YUMM!
The next day we taught Joel again. Even though the lesson was so good the day before we could tell he wasn't progressing so we finally, sadly, dropped him. But we made sure to let him know that he is always welcome at church. ALWAYS.
Thursday we were going through the area book and decided to try a few potential that other missionaries met. One was home and we had a lesson with her... in Spanish. But I guess she really liked it!
Sister borja has been pretty sick this week so she was resting a lot but on Friday we did help Mara move. When she told her mom she was getting baptized I guess it turned into a big argument and so now she is moving her date back. Keep her in your prayers please!
Saturday we had Interviews with president! we love him so much!! and also district meeting with our new district. It was interesting because I had the same District Leader my whole mission and now we have a new one. we also got 2 companionships added to our district.
Sunday was AMAZING! We had to be at church at 7 to go over the ward roster with the ward council. then we went to say bye to the Alhaltehs :( They go to Jordan every summer and I probably wont be in Madison when they get back. I love them. Then back to church. Right before church started guess who walked through the door? JOEL! we were stunned. I think eventually we (or other missionaries) will teach him again and he will join the church. Mara came also. The sunday school lesson was on Baptism and she asked so many good questions and there were so many good answers from missionaries and members! After church we said bye to the Johnston's. They are moving to Alaska! but first they are going to CALI! While tracting we saw scott outside mowing and he stopped and talked to us! he had lots of questions from our last meeting a few days before. Unfortunately he has Chemo tomorrow so we wont be able to see him for a few days but it was GREAT to talk to him yesterday!
Well that's about it. I love you all. I know this is where I'm supposed to be! I miss you! Have a great week!
With love
